General principles

We consider that your personal data (name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address) along with any data communicated on our Web site or generated by browsing constitute confidential data.

In compliance with legal obligations, we hold this information under conditions of enhanced security and for limited periods depending on the purposes for which it was disclosed to us.

This information may only be accessed by our employees and those of our subsidiaries and is only used for the purposes for which you gave it to us: to send you information that you requested by filling out questionnaires, simulation forms or sending e-mails.

Exercising your right of access

All information, in particular copies of personal data collected or generated before, during or following the current task, may be disclosed to individuals exercising their access rights. No unfair collection of personal data

Our server platform is not designed or configured to collect personal information on visitors to the BECM Web site apart from the following data: source of connection (ISPs), IP address, type and version of browser used.

Under no circumstances do we collect visitor’s e-mail addresses without them having deliberately given them to us to register for the newsletter or for sending an e-mail.

Traffic data is used for two purposes: to protect banking transactions which you may need to carry out and to allow us to perform internal analyses on visits to our information pages to improve the content. This information is not kept for more than 1 year. Transaction-related data is stored by name. On the other hand, visitor browsing data is held anonymously. This relates to aggregated statistics used to ascertain the most and least popular pages, preferred paths, activity levels per day of the week and hour of the day, the main client or server errors.

Marketing e-mails

You can subscribe to our newsletters directly by entering your e-mail address on our Web site. You will then receive the newsletter to which you have subscribed.
Your e-mail address may also be used for one-off e-mails presenting an offer or new feature of the site. When collecting your e-mail address and sending messages, we undertake to comply with the Law on Confidence in the Digital Economy (LCEN) and in particular:

  • To collect your personal information fairly, obtaining your consent during registration.
  • To provide you with the option of unsubscribing via a link present in each of our messages.
